the tiara

The wedding was fabulous and the dress even more so…I thought it could only be Sarah Burton!  But the big fashion moment was the gorgeous art deco tiara by  Cartier from 1936.  This tiara has stood the test of time as the bottom image attests.  The use of baguette and round diamonds set in the delicately scrolled platinum setting.  I wouldn’t be suprised if Cartier revived this design- they should!

I also like how the earrings designed by Robinson Pelham echoes the foliate design of the tiara.
