J.Crew will open in HK

You knew once Scott and Garance came to HK to shoot notable HK’ers for their ‘Hello World’ campaign that  a bricks and mortar store isn’t far behind.

CEO, Mickey Drexler, indicated on Bloomberg that he is getting together with Lane Crawford to launch a store here as early as next year.   I’m not sure where they are actually going to put it.  Apple and Abercrombie & Fitch kind of got the best spots.

HK is truly becoming THE centre of shopping- following on the heels of COS, Abercrombie & Fitch and a ton of other overseas brands, I won’t have to go overseas at all to shop.  Though I love to be able to visit these shops whenever I feel like it, it kind of takes some of the fun out of travelling.   I just need Banana Republic and Anthropologie to open….
